Gala 2009 KyotoArrigato and GratitudeFirst of all I want to thank you so much Emiko for asking to express my experiences at the Gala of Kyoto in 2000 and the after Gala-workshop in Osaka. Of course I’m willing to express my experiences in Japan. After I finished my class from Bodycircuits, Pain & Understanding today, I looked into the photo-album of that happy and special Gala to me. IntroductionHello, my name is Zoë Kwakkel, I’m Specialized Trainer in the Netherlands and have an educational centre for LearningGrowingPlaying in Schagen. During the courses of 3in1 I understood more of myself and my desires according to my structures: I like to travel, play, co-operate with others easily ánd honor my personal and professional style.
Gala of Three In One ConceptsThe first Gala I attended was the Gala of 1999 in Las Vegas. And it was an amazing experience. People all over the world were gathering together and had a very good time. I remember that I sung for Nami Jogo at time. At the last day, when we have to say goodbye, Daniel sang the song of Abba “Old Friends”, although I love to sing and playing music, at that time I couldn’t sing with him, my throat was like …….ggghhhhrrrmmmmm. On that happy note, I can sing it now with much pleasure again. Gala 2000 KyotoThe second Gala was in Kyoto, till that time I’ve never had a dream or wish to visit Japan, and because of my experience in 1999, I was willing to go. Yeah! At the opening eve of the Gala, “we”, as we of certain countries, were asked to come in traditional clothing according to our country. The dutch “girls” weren’t willing to that, so we decided to something else. We designed a dress which represented the Barometer on the Body.
Here you can see me, after I finished sawing the dress at home “Barometer on the Body".
At the opening eve it looked like this
I was amazed by the power of the One Brain System and touched by the words of Daniel when he talked about structure function and the high set eyebrows in Japan and what that means. Many Japanese people were crying, while he was talking this structure. During the Gala there was a song singing specially for us: “The sounds of life is beautiful” I still have it and gave it to students during Louder than Words.
Below you can view some pictures of the Gala eve.
And… I remember: · to have the opportunity with Marion Lane to visit a 99Yen store in which we collect a purse, and beautiful letter paper, which I still have · that everything you buy there is wrapped up thoroughly, delicate and special · the umbrella’s that were outside the hotel, which you can take while it was raining and bring it back · the ceremony in the temple special for Three In One · that I had to reconnect with the universal language of touch, because I couldn’t understand anything. Not in shops, when I was buying something, not in playing with someone else’s arms. And I did.
After Gala Osaka After the Gala 2000, I went to Osaka to join the After Gala workshop: “ the Known and the Unknown”. But before I went to Osaka I had a beautiful trip by bus and visit many temples in Kyoto.
In Osaka we used the subway to go to the location.
During the classes most of the participants were Japanese. At that time I had the opportunity to do this work with a Japanese. She worked with me in Japanese as I did with her in Dutch.I asked Tosho to translate the visualization, which he did.
Sayonara Japan!
To me the Gala 2000 was a wholehearted experience and I’m sure it will be in 2009. I’m looking forward to meet you at the Gala 2009 in Kyoto. For sure a very special experience.
Date: Gala 2009 Kyoto: April 29th till May 2nd. Sincerely, Zoë Kwakkel
